“So let’s see what happens” Club chief goes on the record in respect of 2023 target

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was linked with a move away from the London club last summer with Manchester City reported as potential admirers.

Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has now fuelled further speculations surrounding the England international’s future at the Premier League club by claiming that he would be a dream signing for the German side.

He said: “He is under contract at Tottenham. Sure, an absolute top striker, but that’s all a dream of the future. So let’s see what happens”.

The 28-year-old has been exceptional for Tottenham since breaking into the first team scene and he has scored 248 goals across 386 appearances in all competitions.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that the England international striker is considered an untouchable asset by the Tottenham board and they are not willing to sell him at any cost.

The update from Romano will certainly come as a relief for Tottenham fans who will be hoping that the England international can stay at the London club until the end of his career.

The Londoners have certainly shown a lot of improvement since the arrival of Antonio Conte and they will be hoping to end their wait for a trophy in the upcoming season.

There is no doubt that Spurs have a talented squad at their disposal but they must hold on to key players like Kane in order to challenge for major trophies in the coming seasons.

All rests on how much Munich would be willing to pay, and Munich are not free spending when it comes to transfers. Their highest is about £70m. Would Levy entertain a £100m bid? At least Kane would win a few trophies and be guaranteed Ch Lg football every season.

Kane has got the posture of a 57 year old labourer from carrying Levy’s con job operation.

A bit of subtle tapping up by Kahn. With Lewendovski gone it is inevitable they would think of a replacement and Kane is as close to him as you can get.

No doubt they will see how the land lies come next summer and whether Harry has added to his silverware haul.Utd.could be the only option in the UK.
