Report: Tottenham could move for the ‘new Haaland’ who has ‘amazed everyone’

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old will be entering the final year of his contract in the summer and Tottenham have not managed to tie him down to a new deal.

A report from Calciomercatoweb claims that Tottenham have already identified a potential replacement for the England international if he decides to move on in the summer. Apparently, Tottenham could sell the player for around €100-115 million and they will look to make a move for the Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund who has been dubbed as the ‘new Haaland’ and he has ‘amazed everyone’.

The 20-year-old is an enormous talent and he has already managed to hit the ground running in the Italian league. Hojlund has 14 goals across all competitions this season for Atalanta and Sturm Graz (prior to joining the Italian club).

The Danish talent has the potential to develop into a top-class player and he could prove to be the ideal long-term replacement for Harry Kane. The player is reportedly on the radar of Italian club Juventus as well who are eyeing him up as a potential replacement for Dusan Vlahovic.

If Spurs end up selling Kane, they will have enough financial resources to lure the Atalanta striker to north London.

Ideally, Tottenham will want to hold on to their star striker. Kaine is one of the best players in the world and he could be crucial to Tottenham’s hopes of winning major trophies.

It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds over the next few months and whether Tottenham are forced to make a move for the Danish forward in the coming months.
