Report reveals the real figure Bayern Munich paid for Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur sold Harry Kane to Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.

There were rumours that the 30-year-old England international cost the German club around £100 million. However, club chief Uli Hoeness has now revealed via the Sun that Bayern Munich signed the striker for £82 million.

The 30-year-old is one of the best players in the world and signing him for £82 million could prove to be a superb bit of business for the German club. He could end up proving to be a bargain if he manages to perform at a high level and guide the club to major trophies this season.

Kane is undoubtedly one of the best goalscorers of his generation and he has managed to hit the ground running at the German club. He has nine goals in 10 games for the Bundesliga champions and he has signed a four-year contract with them. The striker will look to perform at a high level in the coming seasons as well and help the German club with major trophies.

Kane is yet to win a single trophy at club level and he will be looking to end his wait for silverware soon.

Meanwhile, a report via the Sun reveals that Tottenham have a buyback clause in the striker’s contract and it remains to be seen whether they decide to bring the England captain back to the club in the near future. He is undoubtedly one of Tottenham’s greatest players and they will certainly miss someone like him this season.
