Report reveals Daniel Levy’s four transfer priorities for Tottenham ahead of the summer window

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to improve their squad significantly during the summer transfer window and Daniel Levy has already identified his top four priorities.

According to a report from Football London, Tottenham are looking to sign a quality centre-back, a central midfielder, a goalkeeper and an attacker.

It is no secret that Spurs will have to add more quality at the back and they will need to bring in a reliable partner for Cristian Romero. The Argentine international is the only reliable defender at the club right now.

There have been rumours that Tottenham could look to Saint Clement Lenglet permanently at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, they will need to add craft and goals to their midfield. While they have a talented midfield at their disposal, they are lacking players who can create ample opportunities and score goals consistently. Tottenham need to bring in someone who will help open up defences with his passing and vision.

In the attack, Tottenham have been overly reliant on Harry Kane this season. Players like Son Heung-Min and Richarlison have not been at their best, and Spurs need to bring in someone who can share the goalscoring burden with Kane.

It will be interesting to see if they can bring in a quality backup option to the England international at the end of the season.

Finally, they will need to find a quality replacement for club legend Hugo Lloris who is well past his peak.

The French international goalkeeper has cost his side valuable points with error-prone performances this season and he will need to be replaced as the first-choice goalkeeper at the club.
