Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has slammed Cristian Romero for his crazy tackles.
The Argentinean defender got lucky during the win against Newcastle as he could have been sent off for a rash tackle.
The tackle was surprising considering he just returned from a three game ban for a wild tackle on Enzo against Chelsea. The Sky Sports panel claimed that he will never learn and that he is someone who can be tamed.
Neville in particular was harsh with his critism stating that he had zero sympathy for Romero because of how often he makes tackles like these.
He said:
”He is crazy, Romero.”
“He always has to tackle, slowing himself down doesn’t come into his head.”
”I’ve got very little sympathy for him because he does it that often.”
"I don't think he'll learn. I think it's in him. Some players you can't tame them. He's one of those"

Ange would not be too pleased with that tackle either.
Injuries to Micky van de Ven and Eric Dier means, Spurs are without a natural centre-back at the moment.
Davies has done extremely well as a make shift centre-back but Ange can not afford to miss Romero again.
The World Cup winner needs to work on this part of his game. While he’s a top-class defender, tackles likes these tend to make him a liability for the side sometimes.
