Premier League star linked with a move to Spurs deemed ‘perfect’ for Ange ball

Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara believes Dominic Solanke would be a terrific signing for the club.

The Bournemouth striker has emerged as one of the targets for Tottenham who are looking to sign a Harry Kane replacement.

A recent report claimed that the club has already sent scouts to watch him several times this season and are closely monitoring him ahead of a potential summer move.

O’Hara has now backed Spurs to sign him, claiming that he would be ‘perfect’ for them. He admitted that Bournemouth may not let him go that easy but he would love it if the club signs him.

He told TalkSport:

“I just don’t see how Bournemouth can let him go,” O’Hara said. “They were tipped to go down this season and then all of a sudden, they’ve found some great form and are playing well.

“Look, at the end of the season, if someone comes in for £80 to £90 million, then we’ll let you go and we can rebuild from there with a couple of decent players they can buy.

“But I can’t see how they’d let him go. I’d love him to be at Tottenham. I look at him and think he’s perfect for how we want to play.”

The in-form Premier League star is having an incredible season having scored 12 goals in the league so far in 18 games. He is currently the second joint highest goal scorer alongside Mo Salah. Only Erling Haaland (14) has scored more goals than him. (Premier League stats)
