Manchester City are reportedly keen on signing the Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro.
The 24-year-old Spanish defender has been in exceptional form this season and he has picked up eight assists across all competitions. He has helped Tottenham tighten up defensively and his contributions going forward have been immense.
There is no doubt that the former Sporting CP defender has firmly established himself as one of the best attacking full-backs in the Premier League and it is no surprise that the top clubs are keen on him.
Manchester City are looking to bring a quality long-term replacement for Kyle Walker and their interest in Porro certainly makes sense.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham value the player at around £100 million and it will be interesting to see if Manchester City can secure an agreement with the North London club.
Tottenham will not want to lose a key player any time soon and Manchester City might have to pay well over the odds in order to tempt them. Daniel Levy has a reputation for being a difficult negotiator and the defending champions will find it difficult to convince Tottenham.
It will be interesting to see how Porro reacts to the interest from Manchester City if a concrete proposal is submitted at the end of the season. He could be tempted to join a big club like Manchester City who have proven track record of winning major trophies every season.
