Paul O Keefe has given a expected return time for star defender Micky van de Ven.
The Dutchman signed from Wolfsburg in the summer and has been one of the best players for Tottenham.
He made an instant impact, forming a solid partnership at the back with Cristian Romero helping Spurs to a terrific start to the season, winning eight and drawing 2.
But the game against Chelsea ended up in not only a defeat for Spurs but saw two of their best players in Maddison and van de Ven suffer long-term injuries.
He was said to be out until February but O Keefe shared some promising news yesterday, confirming that the defender has taken a big step towards recovery as he start training individually with the ball on the grass for the first time since his injury.
And he went on to even mention a timeline for his return. When asked about his expected return date, O Keefe said: “Maybe Burnley FA Cup”

The match against Burnley is on January 3rd. This means Van de Ven could be returning a month earlier than his expected return time. His early availability will come as a huge boost for Ange Postecoglou.
