Napoli are prepared to reignite their pursuit of Tottenham defensive star Radu Dragusin for the right price.
There was a lot of interest in the services of Radu Dragusin during the winter transfer window. Tottenham managed to beat the competition to his signature but he hasn’t had too many chances since making the move to the North London club.
His limited game time has resulted in a lot of speculations and according to a report from Corriere Dello Sport, Napoli are ready to return for him in the summer depending on the economic demands.
Things didn’t work out for Dragusin at Juventus but the move to Genoa worked wonders for him. He went from strength to strength after parting ways with the Old Lady and his consistent performances in the heart of the defence resulted in a lot of interest. Some of the biggest clubs wanted to sign him in the winter. But, the Spurs won the race for his signature.
Ange Postecoglou was keen on adding defensive depth and Dragusin’s arrival was seen as a huge boost for his team. But, the Australian has handed him limited game time so far. The Romanian international has featured in just 8 Premier League games, only three of which have been starts resulting in a total of 334 minutes of first team.
The player’s agent has already made it clear that if the situation doesn’t change, the 22-year-old could look for a move elsewhere. Meanwhile, Napoli are ready to reignite their interest in Dragusin.
They wanted to sign him back in the winter and were ready to offer the same amount as Spurs but failed with their attempt. The Naples-based club are looking for defensive reinforcements and they are willing to push for the Romanian centre-back should the right economic conditions arise.
