Tottenham’s Uruguayan midfielder, Rodrigo Bentancur, appears to have returned to training.
He suffered a long-term injury in February that kept him out until November. However, his comeback was short-lived due to an ankle injury from a tackle by Matty Cash, sidelining him for several more weeks.
Ange confirmed last week that Bentancur should return in January, and now, according to his wife’s Instagram activity, it seems he’s back in training.

This development comes as a significant boost for Spurs ahead of their game against Manchester United on January 14th.
His return is timely as Spurs will lose Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr for a month due to the upcoming AFCON starting in January.
It’s been a day of good news for Tottenham, with Romano suggesting a deal for Dragusin is close to completion and reports of Spurs entering talks with Chelsea for Gallagher.
If Spurs can bolster their squad along with the return of their key player, a top 4 finish is very much within reach.
