Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro will miss the game against Wolves.
Just when things started to look positive for Spurs in terms of injuries and they were close to having their full team, they have been hit the with the injury to their star full-back duo.
Club insider Paul O’Keefe recently revealed the latest injury news on Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie.
As per him, Porro picked up a muscular issue and was to be assessed, while Udogie did not train all week as the club’s medical team investigated his issue.
And now manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed the news.
Speaking to the press ahead of the game against Wolves, the Australian confirmed that the duo will miss the game against Wolves.
While Destiny Udogie’s injury is not considered too serious, Porro is expected to be out for a couple of weeks.
He said (via Football London):
“We’ve had a couple of setbacks this week. Destiny [Udogie] obviously picked up a little bit of a knock last week. Not available for tomorrow, don’t think it is anything too serious.
With no game next weekend, he should be back. Pedro [Porro] picked up a strain at training. Again, probably a couple of weeks for him. With the game break hopefully he doesn’t miss too many.”
It is interesting to see how Ange copes without the duo who are so instrumental to the way Spurs play.
