Fulham manager Marco Silva has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season.
The 47-year-old has done an impressive job with Fulham, and former Tottenham scout Mick Brown feels that he wants the Tottenham job. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to appoint him as their next manager.
“Marco Silva wants the Tottenham job,” he told Football Insider.
“No matter what we say, Tottenham is a very lucrative job and it’s one any manager would be interested in.
“They’re a big club, regardless of how well they’re doing on the pitch.
“It’s just about whether Spurs feel he is the right man for the job at the moment, because there are a lot of contenders and people they’ll be looking at.“
Tottenham job will excite Marco Silva
There is no doubt that he has impressed in the Premier League. A move to Tottenham would be a major step in his career, and he would get to fight for trophies with them in future.
Even though Tottenham have struggled this season, they have a talented squad and an ambitious project. The right manager could get the best out of their players. A club of their stature should be fighting for Champions League qualification and trophies regularly.
Tottenham need a quality manager

Ange Postecoglou is likely to be shown the door at the end of the season, and Tottenham have been linked with multiple managers. It remains to be seen who they end up with.
They need to bring in someone who can get the best out of their current squad. Silva has shown that he is capable of working with limited resources, and he could be the ideal appointment for Tottenham.
He has been hailed as “fantastic” by Julen Lopetegui in the past. He will look to prove his worth at the highest level if he ends up at Tottenham.
