Rodrigo Bentancur seems to have the worst of lucks with injuries.
The midfielder spent 8 months out from February 2023 and returned back in November only to suffer another injury which kept him out till January.
And he appears to have suffered another serious injury in Tottenham’s first game of the season.
The Tottenham midfielder suffered the injury in an aerial collision with Fatawu.
He remained on ground as the medical staff were rushed on to treat him.
Alasdair Gold shares updates on his X, stating that there was a lot of concern for Bentancur and players were worried about him.
After a lengthy on pitch treatment, he appeared to be moving but was eventually stretchered off.

It remains to be seen how serious the injury is and if he will be out for a long time or not.
This will come as an early blow for Ange whose first season was marred by injuries which derailed his season.
Ange Postecoglou will hope he has a better luck with injuries this season as he aims for a top 4 finish and more.
