Levy had the chance to sign highly rated winger for just €3m in 2021 but he failed to act swiftly

Tottenham Hotspur missed an opportunity to secure the signing of the Club Brugge wonder kid Antonio Nusa during the player’s time in Norway.

Spurs are actively pursuing the left-winger’s signing in the final week of the January transfer window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, conversations are ongoing and that Tottenham are set to engage in renewed talks with Club Brugge for Nusa.

However, the 18-year-old is not inclined to leave the club this month, and discussions may lead to a deal being finalised for the summer, with Nusa potentially remaining on loan for the rest of the season.

Despite interest from various European clubs as well as Premier League rivals Chelsea, the North London outfit is currently positioned as the leading contender to secure the young winger’s signature.

With recent information coming to light, a recruitment source close to the Scandinavian market revealed to Tottenham News that the club could have signed Antonio Nusa when he was with Stabaek in Norway.

The report claims that Spurs failed to act swiftly, and the opportunity to sign the teenager for a modest fee of €3 million (£2.5 million) in 2021 was missed.

Nevertheless, recognising Nusa’s potential, Tottenham are determined not to let this opportunity slip away again.

The current valuation of £25 million is considered “over the odds,” but Spurs appear poised to pursue the deal and secure the talented young player.
