Tottenham Hotspur continue to make youth development a cornerstone of their long-term strategy, and the latest name on the radar is Mikkel Bro Hansen.
The highly-rated 16-year-old forward is currently honing his skills with Norwegian side FK Bodø/Glimt.
Spurs have taken a proactive approach in scouting elite young talent across Europe, and Bro Hansen is a prime example.
Dubbed by some as the “next Erling Haaland” due to his physical presence and clinical finishing, the young Dane has already made waves at both club and international youth levels.
With three goals in just two outings this season, he’s quickly caught the attention of top scouts.
Former Tottenham scout Bryan King has spoken highly of the youngster, suggesting he has the tools to follow in the footsteps of Norway’s elite exports.
King also highlighted Bodø/Glimt’s growing reputation as a club that nurtures top-level talent and believes Spurs’ interest is both timely and justified.
Speaking to Tottenham News, the pundit said:
“This is a player that could follow in the footsteps of Haaland.
“Bodø/Glimt have been very successful in recent times. Any Premier League club should be looking, and I’m sure Tottenham have already registered an interest in that player because he is at a good club in Norway who have produced some top players who have moved into Europe.
“As I always say, Croatia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, you’ll always get that one player who creates interest from these countries. This young player is creating interest because he is 16 and he plays in the Bodø/Glimt first team. There has been a lot of good stuff written about him.”

Bro Hansen started his career with Danish side AGF, impressing with their U19 team and Denmark’s U16 national squad before moving to Bodø/Glimt earlier in January this year.
The transfer required FIFA approval due to his age, but the Norwegian club secured the move and handed him a deal through to 2027. Since arriving, the teenage striker has trained regularly with the first team and is already making his mark.
Tottenham’s recent investment in young talent—including Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray, Luka Vusković, and Min-hyeok Yang—shows a clear strategy aimed at long-term success.
With Bro Hansen’s stock rising quickly, Spurs may have to move fast to stay ahead of other top European clubs circling around him. Bringing him to North London would be another significant step in shaping Tottenham’s next generation.
