Watch: Guglielmo Vicario and Kevin Danso share brilliant moment together after win against Ipswich Town

January loan signing Kevin Danso and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario shared a brilliant moment together after the game on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur extended their winning streak in the Premier League with a commanding 4-1 triumph over Ipswich Town, securing their third consecutive victory.

This strong recent run of form has given Spurs a much-needed boost as they continue their push up the table under Ange Postecoglou.

Kevin Danso and Guglielmo Vicario share a heartwarming moment

After the full-time whistle, a heartwarming moment between Kevin Danso and Guglielmo Vicario at the final whistle was captured.

The clip posted by the club handle showed Danso applauding the travelling Tottenham supporters when Vicario unexpectedly jumped onto his back in celebration. The Italian goalkeeper then playfully ruffled the Austrian defender’s hair before stepping away with a grin. Caught off guard but clearly amused, Danso responded with a big smile, showcasing the camaraderie within the squad.

On the pitch, Spurs dominated at Portman Road. Brennan Johnson set the tone with the opening goal in the 18th minute, finishing off an excellent assist from Heung-min Son. The duo linked up again just eight minutes later, with Son providing another precise pass for Johnson to slot home his second of the match.

Ipswich managed to pull one back before halftime through Omari Hutchinson, momentarily shifting momentum. However, Tottenham reasserted control in the second half. A disallowed goal for the hosts was soon followed by a deflected effort from Djed Spence in the 77th minute. Dejan Kulusevski then put the game beyond doubt in the 84th minute with a well-placed strike off the post.

Since arriving on loan from Lens earlier this month, Danso has wasted no time making an impression, already featuring in four matches and proving his defensive reliability. There is an obligation to buy the player at the end of his loan deal and given his strong performances and leadership at the back, Spurs will be be glad to have secured his services.

The moment between Danso and Vicario reflects the unity within Postecoglou’s squad—one that thrives not only on results but also on a strong team spirit.
