“Just pack up and go” – Midfielder with 12 goals & 14 assists urged to join Tottenham if they come calling

Tottenham Hotspur have been actively searching for a midfield addition during the January transfer window, with Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher as a top priority.

However, Spurs are also exploring potential alternatives, including Polish midfielder Sebastian Szymanski.

According to a report from Sport Witness, former agent and current football expert for Przeglad Sportowy Kamil Kosowski believes that Szymanski, an attacking midfielder, would view the opportunity to work under Tottenham’s current head coach, Ange Postecoglou, as a significant career move.

Kamil Kosowski suggests that if Tottenham show interest in Szymanski, the midfielder should consider it a significant career opportunity.

According to the expert, when such an opportunity arises, “you just pack up and go.” He also states that “there is no better time” than the present, complementing the midfielder’s terrific run of form.

It is reported that Tottenham could be willing to spend up to €35 million to secure Sebastian Szymanski’s services and bring him to Hotspur Way.

Last summer, Szymanski made a move to Turkish club Fenerbahce from Dynamo Moscow for a transfer fee of €9.75 million, committing to a four-year deal until June 2027.

In his debut season in the Super Lig, the 24-year-old has made a notable impact, registering 12 goals and 14 assists in 35 appearances across all competitions.

According to Fbref, Szymanski stands out statistically with the third-highest goals + assists in the league and the second-highest non-penalty goals. Additionally, he leads the league in tackles won, showcasing his versatility and well-rounded playing style.
