Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Leroy Sane in recent weeks.
The 29-year-old German International is available on a free transfer, and he has also been linked with Arsenal.
According to journalist Christian Falk, Arsenal are currently holding a more concrete interest in the player. Tottenham are keen on signing the former Manchester City attacker, but they have gone quiet in recent days.
It will be interesting to see whether they return with an offer to sign the winger.
“The talks with Arsenal are more concrete at the moment than with Tottenham, who have gone a little quiet in recent days. Now, everybody is waiting for a decision,” Falk revealed to CF Bayern Insider.
“Normally, they’d want a decision this week but it’s still yet to be made. So, perhaps, they will wait to see how serious Arsenal are. Leroy Sané would like to go to London – this would be his favoured option if he were to leave Bayern Munich.
“That was his clear message to his new agent, Pini Zahavi. Zahavi himself is based in London and is involved in talks with all the major London clubs.”
Tottenham could use Leroy Sane
They need more quality and depth on the flanks, and Sane will add goals and creativity to the side. He has 13 goals to his name this past season, and he picked up six assists along the way as well.
He has extensive experience in Premier League football, and he won the league twice with Manchester City. He could settle in quickly and make an instant impact if he joins the north London club.
Signing a player of his quality and experience on a free transfer could prove to be a masterstroke from Tottenham. They need to improve multiple areas of their squad, and they cannot afford to miss out on a player like Sane, especially on a free transfer.
Sane fancies London move

His agent, Pini Zahavi, is currently in London to hold transfer talks regarding his client. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham come forward with an offer to sign him. The player wants to move to London this summer.
The opportunity to return to the Premier League could be quite exciting for the player at this stage of his career, and it remains to be seen where he ends up. Both Arsenal and Tottenham will be able to offer him Champions League football next season, and they also have exciting projects.
