Journalist confirms Tottenham ‘interest’ in Premier League star with 14 goal contributions

By Saikat -

Wolves winger Pedro Neto has been linked with the move away from the club and journalist Dean Jones has now confirmed that the player has interest from Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham.

The journalist also revealed to Give Me Sport that it is now highly likely that the Portuguese winger will leave Wolves at the end of the season.

“Neto has varying degrees of interest from Man Utd, Arsenal, and Tottenham. As soon as those names are linked with a player of that style, it’s tough to believe you will hold on to them. If I was a Wolves fan right now, I think I’d still have optimism that O’Neil stays, but with Neto, I’d be watching every game and just taking it all in because there’s a definite chance that these are his last few months at Wolves.”

The North London outfit could certainly use more quality in the wide areas and the 23-year-old would be a superb addition for them. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can beat the competition from Manchester United and Arsenal for the player.

The Portuguese winger has been outstanding for Wolves and he is certainly good enough to play for clubs like Tottenham. The North London outfit are currently pushing for Champions League qualification and joining them would be the ideal step up for Neto.

He is versatile enough to operate on both flanks and he will add creativity, flair and goals to the side. Spurs need more depth in their squad if they want to compete across all fronts and push for major trophies. They have the bones of a very good squad and a couple of quality additions in the summer could take them to a whole new level.

Neto will undoubtedly improve them going forward and he will add more cutting edge in the final third. The 23-year-old has the technical attributes to take on defenders and beat them. He will help Spurs open up stubborn defences.

The 23-year-old attacker has three goals and 11 assist across all competitions this season and his numbers are likely to improve when he is playing in a better team alongside better players. A move to Tottenham could help him improve further and fulfil his tremendous potential.
