OK – again…you said best of all time and not standing him up against managers like Clough, Nicholson, Fergie, Paisley, Busby, Herra, Michels, Sachi, even Cruyff…. All top managers will say the hardest part of being a manager is when you need to rebuild a top team, Jose has never done that, he has never stuck in a job long enough, all his success based on spending loads of money, even at Porto he out spent every other team in their league. Yes he won the CL, but on the domestic front they barely had to get out of 2nd gear each week.

Mourinho won the Champions League with two different clubs. Klopp and Guardiola with only one club. Mourinho won the Europa League with two different clubs. 4 European trophies excellent result. There are not many who are better than him in Europe. He always comes to troubled clubs and succeeds. Real before his arrival for 7 years in a row could not pass the 1/8 Champions League, Mourinho led Real Madrid three times in a row to the semifinals. Think about it.

United were ruined after Fergie (a better manager than Jose), they then got Van Gaal and Giggs that started to turn the bus around. Jose then took the squad and won a few bits but after he had spent his money his win percentage dropped like a brick.
