Ange Postecoglou faces pressure as Tottenham suffered another defeat last night, losing 1-0 to Bournemouth at the Vitality stadium.

Spurs would have hoped to bounce back from their disappointing draw against Fulham last week, but the Cherries had other plans.

Dean Huijsen scored the only goal of the game, a thumping header past Fraser Forster early in the first half after getting past Radu Dragusin with ease.

The defeat means they have now dropped to 10th, with 20 points, after winning only 6, drawing 2 and losing another 6 in 14 games.

Pressure is mounting on Ange Postecoglou, who even clashed with a group of angry Spurs supporters after the game.

Jamie O’Hara: Ange Postecoglou will be sacked

The current form has sparked discussions regarding the manager’s future at the club. Former Tottenham midfielder and pundit Jamie O’Hara was not a happy man after the latest defeat, and has now made a bold prediction that Daniel Levy will sack Postecoglou if the poor form continues.

He said on talkSPORT:

“You know what? I don’t know how much more… Look, I like Ange, I like the football he plays, I do. But, there’s a big but coming, but this is getting old, this football, in terms of set-pieces and playing out from the back.

“Daniel Levy ain’t going to stand for this. I’m telling you now. If he thinks he can go all the way through the season and keep defending like this, keep having set-pieces like this, he will get sacked.

“Daniel Levy is all about Champions League football, Europa League minimum. If Spurs are 10th in the table after Christmas, they will sack Ange. I’m telling you, they will sack him. This can’t continue.

“I feel like he’s starting to run on thin ice. I need to see more. One from the players because the players again tonight let themselves down, but I need more from the manager.”
