It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Christmas is well on its way, and fans are looking forward to time off with their families, time away from their families, perhaps enjoying some casino, and of course, they are secretly looking forward to the annual fixture pile-up that December always brings.

The 2025-26 Premier League season features a packed December schedule, including midweek rounds and the traditional Boxing Day fixtures.

Full schedules for December 27-28 (e.g., potential games like Aston Villa vs. Manchester United on December 27) and December 29-31 are still being finalised due to TV selections and European commitments. Expect announcements around December 17.

Based on the official Premier League schedule for the 2025-26 season, here are Tottenham’s matches scheduled in December 2025. Note that some dates and times have been adjusted for live broadcasts (primarily on Sky Sports in the UK). The season’s festive period features a packed run, with no games on Boxing Day (December 26).

Sunday, December 14, it’s Nottingham Forest away at the City Ground. Kick off is 14:00 and the game is Live on Sky Sports. This one was moved from December 13th.

Nottingham Forest (17th, 15 points from 15 games) are in relegation peril after a 3-0 home defeat to Everton last weekend, marking their second loss in three matches and extending a run of just one win in their last six league outings. A victory here could lift them four points clear of the drop zone, especially with games in hand on some rivals. Tottenham (11th, 22 points from 15 games) arrive in better spirits following a 2-0 home win over Brentford—their second victory in three—and sit seven points above Forest, eyeing a push toward the top six. However, Spurs’ injury woes have hampered consistency, with only three wins from their last 11 across all competitions.

Saturday, December 20, it’s Liverpool at home. Kick off is 17:30 and the game is also live on Sky Sports.

Liverpool have won the last three league meetings, including that wild 6-3 thriller at this venue last season, where Mohamed Salah starred with two goals and an assist.
Expect end-to-end action—over 2.5 goals have landed in four of the last five head-to-heads. Both teams sit just outside the top half after 15 matches, separated by goal difference. Tottenham (11th, 22 points) has shown flashes of attacking flair but defensive frailty, while Liverpool (10th, 23 points) boasts the league’s joint-second-highest goal tally but has leaked goals at an alarming rate.

Sunday, December 28 sees us travel to Crystal Palace, and that’s a 16:30 kick-off.

Crystal Palace (4th, 26 points from 18 games) have been one of the league’s surprise packages under Oliver Glasner, blending defensive resilience with sharp counters. They’ve won four of their last six home games, scoring 1.32 goals per match on average, but recent draws (including a 1-1 stalemate with Nottingham Forest) have stalled momentum. A win here would push them toward 49 points—a club Premier League record—and potentially into Conference League contention via a top-eight finish.

Last up for the month will be Tuesday, December 30, when we head to Brentford for an 8 pm kick-off.

Tottenham holds the edge in recent meetings, winning the last four Premier League clashes against Brentford (including a 3-1 victory in May 2023). Overall, it’s more balanced: Tottenham 3 wins, 2 draws, 1 Brentford win in the last six. The Bees’ last triumph at Spurs was in 2021 (a 0-0 draw turned into a win via late drama). Expect set pieces to play a role—Brentford rank high in headers scored, while Tottenham’s high press often leaves gaps.
