Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dejan Kulusevski has had an impressive season so far and he has been the club’s best player this season.
The Swedish international has reinvented himself in a more central role and Spurs insider John Wenham believes that he is on the list of all big clubs. However, an exit is highly unlikely in the coming months, and Tottenham will not sanction his departure.
The London club do not need to raise funds by selling their key players, and the midfielder has a long-term contract with the club.
Furthermore, the midfielder seems happy at Tottenham and he is enjoying his football at the London club. He is unlikely to force an exit either.
Wenham said to Tottenham Hotspur News: “I think he’s been our best player all season.
“His skill set is phenomenal for someone of his frame, he’s got a really unique style and he is still very young. The beauty of this for Tottenham is that he is contracted with the club until 2028 and his value is absolutely skyrocketing.
“However, I don’t think Tottenham will have any desire to sell him. I think he’s only going to get better and better. The club make so much money from other revenue streams, they don’t need to sell players. I’m sure Kulusevski is on the list of all big clubs.
“However, he seems very happy in London, and I’ve got zero worries about him leaving the club.”
Kulusevski has impressed with his passing, vision, and link-up play along with his defensive work rate and pressing ability. He has proven to be a revelation under Ange Postecoglou. It will be interesting to see if he can guide Tottenham to a top-four finish this season.
Tottenham have been quite inconsistent with their performances and they need to improve in order to secure Champions League qualification. They will need to secure Champions League qualification in order to hold onto their best players. The likes of Kulusevski will want to compete at the highest level and push for trophies regularly.
