Tottenham have made a major move by securing Leeds United’s emerging star, Archie Gray.

Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the transfer with his famous “here we go” announcement, indicating that the deal is finalised.

He shared the update on X:

“Archie Gray has completed medical and signed contract valid until June 2030 as new Tottenham player.

Joe Rodon will go to Leeds Utd, as expected. Here we go, confirmed.”

The 18-year-old prodigy has reportedly completed his medical and signed a contract with Spurs that will keep him at the club until June 2030.

Tottenham will pay around £40 million for Gray, underscoring their belief in his potential and long-term value to the squad.

Gray has been an outstanding performer for Leeds United, excelling in multiple roles, including right-back and central midfield.

Last season, he made 52 appearances across all competitions, demonstrating his versatility and earning the EFL Championship Young Player of the Season award.

His remarkable performances have attracted attention from several top Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Chelsea and West Ham.

In a related transaction, Spurs defender Joe Rodon will move to Leeds for a fee of approximately £10 million. This move aligns with the Lilywhites’ strategy to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.

Gray’s addition to Tottenham’s roster is a significant achievement for the club. His ability to excel in various positions will provide valuable flexibility and depth to Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

Spurs fans are eagerly anticipating how Gray will adapt to the Premier League and contribute to the team’s success in the coming years.

As the Lilywhites aim to build a competitive side, securing Archie Gray highlights their ambition and commitment to nurturing young talent.
