By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pape Matar Sarr has established himself as a key player for the North London club this season.

The 21-year-old has been a regular starter under Ange Postecoglou and he has featured in 18 Premier League matches this season.

Few would have expected him to hold down a regular starting spot under the Australian manager this season, but the 21-year-old seems to have impressed with his performances and he is now an indispensable asset for the north London side.

Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has now heaped praise on the Senegal international and he has claimed that the player will have an immense future at the Premier League club.

Bridge also claims that the 21-year-old midfielder is a special talent who could develop into one of the best players in the league.

Bridge said on Last Word on Spurs: “I have got to say there is one player I think has an absolutely immense future at Spurs and I saw it against Bournemouth, it’s Pape Sarr.

“I think he is going to be special. I am really excited to get him back fit after the African Cup of Nations because some players it takes them a while and I think he is gold.

“I know when Spurs signed him, City and United, and all the big hitters were after him, and I think Tottenham doing that deal with Metz to keep him there on loan was a bit of a masterstroke really.”

The young central midfielder is only going to get better with coaching an experience. Tottenham fans will certainly be excited to see him develop in the coming seasons.

They needed a quality central midfielder who can control the tempo of the game, help out defensively and add some craft to the midfield as well. Sarr has proven himself to be a complete midfielder for Tottenham so far.

The midfielder has two goals and two assists in the Premier League so far this season and he will look to continue his impressive run a form and guide Tottenham to UEFA Champions League qualification by the end of the season.
