Fabrizio Romano has shared an encouraging update on Tottenham’s pursuit Randal Kolo Muani.
TheBoyHotspur reported last night that Daniel Levy and Johan Lange have flown to France to personally negotiate a deal with PSG for the Frenchman.
This report details that Kolo Muani is expected to cost around £55 million, the deal includes a financial arrangement that is said to appeal to Tottenham’s cost-conscious chairman. Spurs would not be required to pay PSG until 2026, allowing the club to manage their finances strategically.
Romano shared his insight on the matter, confirming Tottenham’s interest in the player, as he revealed that the club has indeed made an inquiry about the player.
However, he added that the North London club are not the only club interested with the likes of Juventus very keen on signing him as well.
He told GiveMeSport:
“It’s a possibility but there are several clubs. Tottenham have asked for information, but also Juventus in Italy for example. It’s an open race, as PSG keep waiting for the best conditions possible.”
He then shared a further update on his Twitter account, claiming that Kolo Muani is due to leave the club this month.

Randal Kolo Muani could be an excellent signing for Tottenham
Tottenham could certainly use more depth in their attack, specially considering the injury problems they have had this season. And the French international would be an ideal signing.
Kolo Muani impressed with his form in the Bundesliga, scoring an impressive 26 goals and 17 assists in 50 appearances.
However, he has struggled with his form since making the €90m to PSG. Perhaps a move to the Premier League could give him a fresh start and help him recapture his form and confidence. There is no doubt that he is a quality player and he has shown that with club and country over the years.
Spurs are making quick strides in the January transfer window, having already announced their first signing of 2025 in goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky.
If they can sign Kolo Muani, it will be a massive statement of intent from the club. It remains to be seen whether they can successfully beat competition to his signature.
