Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the release clause of Stuttgart winger Chris Fuhrich, who has recently emerged as a target for Tottenham Hotspur.

Romano’s latest update reveals that Fuhrich’s release clause has been raised from €23 million to €26 million following his call-up to the Germany squad for the European Championship.

He posted on X:

Understand release clause into Chris Führich contract is now worth €26m instead of €23m after 26 year old winger has been called for the Euros. Bayern keep monitoring him closely, he’s in the list as one of the next names after Palhinha, top priority.

The Lilywhites are reportedly among the clubs considering a move for the 26-year-old winger, who has been a standout performer for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.

Under contract with Stuttgart until the summer of 2028, Fuhrich can leave the club if his €26 million release clause is triggered.

In the recently concluded Bundesliga season, Fuhrich played a pivotal role for Stuttgart, making 34 league appearances, scoring eight goals, and providing seven assists.

His contributions were instrumental in helping Stuttgart secure a commendable 2nd place finish in the league, ahead of powerhouse Bayern Munich.

Internationally, Fuhrich has earned four caps for the German national team, showcasing his talent on the international stage.

He is expected to play a significant role for Germany in the Euros, underlining his value as a player.

While, there is no confirmation of Tottenham’s interest in him, they must act swiftly and decisively if they do intend to sign the German.
