Exclusive: Chelsea Players Take The Knee

By The Boy -

A big shout out to the boys at Second Hand Fridge who have taken out time from being dreadful to send this touching message to the world.

Our newsfeeds are sadly jam-packed with images of burning cars, smashed shopfronts, and looters running about tripping over trainer boxes, many of them with their bottoms hanging out the back of their trousers…

Meanwhile, in SW3, there is hope for brave new world order.

That collection of players appears to be made up of Hobbits, Munchkins, Elves & leprechauns. Surprised to see them doing a Swastika, wouldn’t have thought they’d have made it past the Nazi’s.

What exactly are we to make of this FAKE photo, someone might actually believe it’s real and bring more problems to a possible volatile situation. If the players wanted to take the knee why has someone disrespected them and photoshopped them in this formation.

Very strange photo, hardly surprising from that lot.

Yes HH. Echoes of the riots in the UK back in 2011, whatever the anger and frustration sparked it. In the end it became mostly about looting sportswear stores and making off with flat screen televisions. Sort of disrespectful to the original person that died and their family, Floyd’s brother has already told them to stop, but of course they won’t because half of them couldn’t give a $hit about what happened. They just want new footwear.

Also the double standards within sections of the media again. When people wanted to get out of their flats and houses to walk in parks or go to the beach, walk in the countryside a week ago it was seen as too many people being ‘irresponsible’. Yet, thousands gather in Hyde Park to (rightly) show solidarity over the Floyd murder and hardly any of them are ‘distancing’ or have face masks and nobody says a thing…
