Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season, and multiple Premier League clubs are keen to secure his signature.
According to a report from TBR Football, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea are keen on the player. Journalist Paul Gilmour has now confirmed that Tottenham are keeping tabs on him as well.
“But Dean Huijsen, going back to him, he’s definitely on a Tottenham list. I think the way it was put to me is it would be a bit negligent if a player of that quality with a release clause, if you’re not seen to be going for them, whether they’ve got a chance of getting them,” Gilmour said.
The defender is reportedly valued at £50 million, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to make a move for him in the summer. They could certainly use a quality young central defender like him. Cristian Romero has been linked with an exit, and Huijsen could be the ideal replacement for the South American.
Dean Huijsen could fancy a big move

The 20-year-old has proven himself in the Premier League, and he might be tempted to move to a bigger club. Tottenham could provide him with the platform to fight for trophies in the coming seasons, and regular football at a higher level could help him develop faster.
Arsenal would be an attractive destination for him as well. They are looking to add more depth and quality to the defensive unit, and the Spaniard would be a long-term acquisition. Arsenal have done well to nurture young players, and they could help him fulfil his potential.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to pay the asking price. They need to improve multiple areas of the squad, and the £50 million valuation could prove to be too expensive for them.
