Deal hijacked: Premier League rivals have hijacked Spurs’ move for attacker – Player travelling to England to complete move

Premier League rivals have hijacked Tottenham’s move for Antonio Nusa.

Reports this week suggested that Spurs are on the brink of securing the signing of the highly-rated youngster.

It was stated that personal terms have been agreed and a move for the summer is close to being finalised.

The deal would have seen Spurs sign him this month and have him loaned back to Club Brugge where he wished to remain until the end of the season.

But journalist Sacha Tavolieri broke the news earlier today that Brentford have successfully hijacked Spurs’ move for Nusa.

According to him, the player is flying to England to agree deal with the Bees, as he decided that the project there was more suited than Tottenham’s proposal.

Ben Jacobs has also affirmed these reports and stated Brentford have reached an agreement with Club Brugge a package that could rise to around €35m.

This will come as a big blow for Spurs who as per reports were convinced that they had beaten the competition to sign him.
