Solanke, who previously played for Liverpool, had an outstanding season last campaign, finishing as the joint-fourth top scorer in the Premier League with 19 goals, a record he shares with Phil Foden and Ollie Watkins.
His consistent goal-scoring ability has made him a prime target for Spurs, who are keen on strengthening their attacking options.
Initially, there were concerns that only Champions League clubs could trigger Solanke’s release clause, which might have excluded Spurs from contention. However, it appears that Bournemouth has agreed to the deal for the same £65 million fee.
The potential acquisition of Solanke signals Tottenham’s ambition to add a proven Premier League goal-scorer to their ranks, positioning the club for success in both domestic and European competitions in the upcoming season
Fans are eagerly awaiting the official announcement, as Solanke’s addition could significantly boost the club’s attacking prowess.
