Tottenham are working hard to seal the signing of Club Brugge wonder kid Antonio Nusa.
The North London club have been monitoring the teenager for a considerable period and are actively working to secure a leading position in acquiring his services.
Reportedly, Brugge is seeking a fee of £25 million for Nusa, coupled with a loan arrangement allowing the Norway international to stay with the Belgian club until the season’s conclusion.
According to the latest update from Fabrizio Romano, ‘conversations are ongoing’ between the two clubs for the player and a renewed contact is expected in the coming days.
Romano emphasises that Nusa prefers to stay with Brugge until the season ends, not wanting to leave in the middle of the season.
Discussing on his latest Youtube video, he adds that Tottenham are keen on signing him this window and loaning him back to Brugge for the remainder of the season – but they want to get a deal done quickly to avoid letting it turn into a race.
He said:
“Conversations are ongoing between Tottenham and Club Brugge. From what I am hearing, there will be a new contact in the next few days.”
“Tottenham want to sign the player now and allow him to join in the summer. Nusa does not want to leave the Brugge now.”
“There are also other clubs in the race. It is not a done deal which is why Tottenham want to be fast.”

Spurs have been very smart in signings recently. The likes of James Maddison, Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Brennan Johnson and Udogie have all proven to be excellent signings over the last couple of years. And if they can sign Nusa, they will be signing another fantastic talent.
