Tottenham Hotspur insider Paul O’Keefe has hinted that the club is planning to make two additional signings before the transfer window closes.
According to O’Keefe, Tottenham are focusing on strengthening both their defensive and midfield positions.
Responding to a question by a fan about Tottenham’s plans for more signings, he responded with the following encouraging update on X:
They are still investigating 2 positions. Defender and midfielder.

The news follows Tottenham’s latest signing of Wilson Odobert from Burnley for approximately £25 million, marking their fifth signing of the summer.
The club has already welcomed another exciting youngster in Yang Min-hyuk, Archie Gray from Leeds, and Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth.
Additionally, Timo Werner’s loan deal has been extended for another year, and Lucas Bergvall was officially signed after an agreement in January.
Despite these additions, Tottenham’s transfer window will be considered incomplete if they fail to address the identified needs in defense and midfield.
The club’s ability to finalise these signings before the deadline remains uncertain.
Tottenham start their new season against Leicester on Monday.
And while Kulusevski played as false 9 in the pre-season and did a great job at it, Solanke is expected to start upfront.
Fans will be looking forward to an opening day win which should set the tone for the rest of the campaign.
