Tottenham have already had a loan bid rejected for Radu Dragusin.
That’s according to the latest from Football Insider, who claim that the North London club made a loan offer for the Romanian centre-back which was swiftly ‘rejected’ by Genoa.
Spurs are strongly linked with a move for him, and significant developments have been reported regarding the transfer.
Dragusin is said to have already agreed personal terms with Tottenham and is keen on a move to the Premier League.
The report from Football Insider claims that despite his agent’s claims that the player intends to stay at Genoa, Tottenham are confident that they can sign the 21-year-old this month.
Tottenham face an urgent need to strengthen their defence amidst an ongoing injury crisis. They are currently without both Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero and while the Dutch defender is closing in on a return, Ange remains keen to sign an additional defender to offer cover in their absence.
