Home » André’s best XI

The fourth round of the Capitol One Cup is upon us.

Our opponents are the mighty Hull Tigerprint Pants Goalkickers who we haven’t played since Sunday. If you thought Spurs fans weer unimpressed with the game, then”Brucey” as André called him was near suicidal after Michael Oliver’s decision.

It is an absolute joke decision. It hits his leg for a start and then goes up and hits his arm, how do you give a penalty in that situation?

We have more directives and meetings and all this nonsense, they are all getting assessed up in the stands but then they give decisions like that which just baffles me and I have to ask the question, would we have got it?

Until the refs are given the support they are clearly in desperate need of, that’s show business.

So who do we field?

I see no point in playing Defoe. And to that end, I’ve opted for a formation that has a proper defence and midfield designed to hopefully make more headway through Hull’s defensive line up and GET THE BALL TO SOLDADO.

Chadli is a player that could mix this game up so Azza and Siggy need to earn the right to stay on the pitch until the final whistle. This is also a cracking opportunity to experiment with Adebayor and Soldado.

Given the grief the team are getting at The Lane, despite results, we need to rotate, of course we do, but only with a distinct purpose. Finding André’s best XI.

We’ve Everton on Sunday. Let’s travel having actually learned something from this game.

Heads up: I’ve introduced some anti trolling guidelines. This blog isn’t public property, it just happens to be in the public domain.

All forums have rules and regulations and now of a fashion, does this one.

A handful of people who repeatedly lacked self control have recently been binned; I’ll not hesitate in scrapping more. TROLLS is your non negotiable guide to minimum expectations.

Anyone missing anyone binned ought click HERE.
