Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Rio Vallecano defender Andrei Ratiu.
The 26-year-old Romanian has done quite well in La Liga this season and he has eight goal contributions in all competitions.
The full back is highly rated across Europe and he is on the radar of multiple clubs. Tottenham are keen on securing his signature, and the player has now opened up on the transfer links.
The Romanian has revealed that he is focused on guiding his side to safety this season and will consider any offers if they arrive in the summer. The defender added that he is enjoying his time in Spanish football, and he would like to continue in La Liga.
“Honestly, I am very focused on Rayo and the national team. We have the objective of staying up, which is not yet a reality. Look at what happened to Las Palmas last year.
“For me, €25m is a lot of money… First, we will have to see if there are offers, but I have always liked La Liga and I want to continue playing here,” Rațiu said (h/t SportWitness).

The development will certainly come as a blow for Tottenham, who were hoping to sign him. The defender has a €25 million release clause in his contract and he could have been a quality addition for a reasonable amount of money. It remains to be seen whether they can convince the player to join the club.
Tottenham already have players like Pedro Porro and Djed Spence at their disposal. It will be interesting to see how they accommodate another full back in the side.
The Romanian international needs to join a club where he will play regularly and compete at a high-level. It remains to be seen whether the Spurs can provide him wan ith opportunity.
