“absolutely criminal” – Jamie O’Hara fumes at Ange for his tactics after second red card

By Mehdi Gokal -

Former Tottenham midfield Jamie O’Hara was not happy with Ange Postecoglou’s tactics after Spurs went down to 9 men.

Tottenham suffered their first league defeat of the season at the hands of rivals Chelsea who ended up winning 4-1.

The game was a thriller and was marred with tackles, red cards, VAR reviews, and goals.

Kulusevski gave Spurs an early lead and Son scored again few minutes later but the captain’s goal was disallowed.

On the other end, Raheem Sterling put the ball in the back of the net but his goal too was ruled out for handball. However, Romero escaped a red card in the build up after deliberately kick a Chelsea player.

But it was just few minutes later that the Argentine got his marching orders after a rash tackle that saw him catch Enzo on the follow through. A penalty was awarded as well which Palmer slotted home.

And things went from bad to worse as Udogie received his second yellow in the 55th minute.

As expected a one way traffic of Chelsea attack followed after with the Blues finding it extremely easy to go through on goal due to Tottenham’s high defensive live.

This was what bothered Jamie O’Hara who could not understand why Ange continued to play a high line when down to 9 men.

He tweeted:

“Please someone explain to me why we played a high line with 9 men on the pitch, absolutely criminal defending and tactics”

Chelsea ended up winning 4-1, with Jackson grabbing a hat-trick and it could have been much worse if not for Vicario’s heroic performance.
