Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur arrived on deadline day this past January transfer window, and the 24-year-old used this new chapter in his career to help his national team.
Bentancur played 74 minutes for Uruguay, scoring the opening less than a minute into the match against Venezuela. The midfielder also provided one key pass while also winning seven of 11 total duels.
On the defensive side, Bentancur had five interceptions while having one clearance and one blocked shot.
