Tottenham Hotspur are drip-feeding us their latest brave new world experience and picked this Saturday afternoon to make the appointment of Paratici formally. “I’ve known Fabio for a number of years…” opined Daniel Levy in his ‘Delighted to announce‘ quote.
Who knows how all this going to pan out? For me, I fear that the entire situation is utterly shambolic and that should this last roll of the dice attempt to actually get the club back on track – a solid gold statue of Daniel Levy ought to be erected outside the stadium – simply to acknowledge the audacity of the initiative.
One curious aspect of this announcement is that our new Managing Director, Football, won’t start until July 1st. Perhaps this is to do with Fabio’s contract situation, who knows. Would it have really cost heaven and earth to get these people in situ in a timely fashion, really?!

A mate of mine got made redundant and his package had three months until April 30 paid. Picked up a new job within a week but put it on LinkedIn as “starting May 1” as his terms of redundancy would have seen him not been paid by the previous gig if he started a new one.
Maybe Paratici is double dipping.
Hope he does the same in the transfer market.
First interview with Fabio on Spurs TV – he comes across well enough, but it did make me laugh when he mentioned “great stadium and training facilities” 😂 I expect he can’t start until 1st July due to the intensive press training and brainwashing Levy has mandated. Will Levy consider keeping out of his way, or is this a rise and repeat of the Comolli human shield? I think we know the unfortunate answer…
