“I don’t think his position is tenable anymore” Another Day, Another Media Pile On| video

The business of the stadium redevelopment has become such a chore to even mention that it is being used as an aside in conversation. A billion-pound outlay that has effectively been debased because ENIC, entirely recklessly, took their eye off of the actual football team.

Harry Kane was never going to stay at Spurs forever because he’s a competitive sportsman who will understandably expect to win silverware. When Pochettino and Solskjaer talk about ‘ego’ they are whistling in the dark – keeping the 85% of players in their squads who know that they aren’t good enough to really win anything of any true worth.

Is Levy’s position tenable? You tell me. What is his job title? Has he been a good Chief Executive Officer? In return on investment – obviously. As a guy running a football club, he’s been nothing more than a jam, tomorrow merchant.

Yeah, I’ve never seen an article like that one from him. It’s good to see, though.
If this continues, Levy will probably hire his own personal Comical Ali before he does anything else.

If Levy took his eye off the ball with regards the team to build the stadium, how come it was two years late and twice the budget.Somebody must have taken their eye of the build,I wonder who that could have been?

His mealymouthed statement to the fans, who he says are wonderful, reeks of PR sanctimony and insincerety. It is in Lewis’ remit to sack him if he won’t fall on his sword.

Ref: Alasdair Gold…. he’s usually a Spurs mouthpiece, but his “behind the scenes” article this morning is far more scathing than we’re used to from him.

Lets get something straight, Levy is completely UNSACKABLE so don’t expect him to go anywhere.

And if he does, then what? ENIC just install the next puppet – the BUSINESS MODEL will not change.

You seem to be under the misguided assertion that he gives a flying f**k about what they supporters think. He’s so invested in himself he’d probably think they’d be saying “Great job, Daniel. Please stay as long as you want”.

Amazing what investing in top quality players does for your club though, eh?

Levy has to leave because of Kane going I would say of course not. Levy having to go because he is not performing in his role and has done the same job for twenty years and lost objectivity in completing that role is a massive yes.

Levy’s position is completely untenable. The buck stops with him at the top as chairman. That is why he gets paid an obscene salary. In any other private business he would be gone by now. The fact that he is still in post smacks of corruption.

THFC need an enema from top to bottom to have any future chance of success. Virtue signalling buy a pretty stadium, nice raining facilities only hides the mess that is the football club. It is like taking a worn out hooker and giving her a make over from top to bottom but she is still in reality the same useless piece of trash that she was before.
ENIC are not clueless. Joe is a currency trader, a species of parasite that makes money out of nothing and produces nothing else. that should give a clue about their attitude. They are classical mercenaries, in the best tradition of Shyl*ck who are only there for the money and do not care about the famous. once reputable product that they have soiled and now are destroying.
I so wish That they would sell out and move on as football wise they have to be the worst owners of any top 20 rated European club. The MU fools whine about their owners but I do not see ENIC offering to buy Haaland etc. as it might damp down their profit

“So Joe we build a state of the art piece of real estate and call it a stadium and put on a few concerts and throw a few quid at the playing side of the business. Then some investor from the US sees the potential and wants a piece of the action. We sell up for a £1.7b profit and the fans are happy as they are clap along numbnuts”

Durham is a purveyor of reactionary comments, but like any idiot who throws enough darts the bullseye will be hit eventually. I haven’t forgotten Durham calling out the Mourinho haters because Jose would win a trophy, based solely on Jose being given loads of resources in all his clubs. Then he was calling for him to be sacked. On this though I agree, but I would, I cannot stand the sound of Levy’s name.

Levy took the eye off the ball! He has never had it on the (foot)ball. Fact.

ENICs monopolising of the local area is one of the most sickening aspects of all. A wolf in sheep’s clothing, rooting itself in the guise of a Football Board only to allow the club to disintegrate while it feasts on its main objectives – London real estate

And now ENIC have reportedly purchased the Whitewebbs golf course for the purpose of building an NFL training ground. How much of the clubs money will they be sinking into this new venture while our squad rots and fritters into pieces?

Levy has mortgaged a once prestigious football brand to the hilt (and some) to build a white elephant events and shopping arena. The current stream of TV money covers the repayments and keeps the wolf from the door but doesn’t leave anything spare to invest on other parts of the business. But when you’re a property development company, that’s your core business and other irritating side hustles can whistle until your main business is complete. For the parasites that are ENIC, the perfect solution is Premier League TV money with no net outward investment to keep the TV money coming in. In fact, the less they can spend but still ensure the TV money comes in, the better a job they are doing. 4th from bottom each season would be just dandy. Footballing success is vanity, property and profit is sanity. Welcome to the world of ENIC. If we can’t find new owners quickly, relegation may be the only chemotherapy to treat this cancer.

If 63,000 people stood up at ground, turned to face the directors box and spent 90 minutes chanting Levy,Levy you are a Rhynes with bunt, over and over never letting up How long before that odious little man went taking Lewis with him.A once proud and beautiful club that has been dragged down by those two greedy money loving anti fans.

Everyone decent that leaves Spurs goes on to win stuff that they didn’t win with Spurs.

Someone explain what ENIC have done over the last two decades to change this inescapable and uncomfortable truth?

Nuffink.

Hardly a fan of Durham, but I’m glad someone has at least said this in the public domain…
