Dele Alli was our MOTM last night, according to Sky Sports, a decision I view as political, based upon a paucity of evidence. It wasn’t as dull as the boy can be, but to suggest he was somehow Tottenham’s mover and shaker, or in some other way blew our minds is to misrepresent what actually happened.
With Dele Alli historically we have seen performances that were largely non-events, rescued by individual moments of magic, and the struggle, the challenge has always been for more substantial effort overall. Last night we did get flashes of good stuff, but it was let down by falling over and misplaced passes that a better side would have punished us for.
I take a view that whilst he’s a talented boy, he really would’ve benefitted from being coached before long his 25th birthday which is next month. Given Mourinho’s exasperation with Alli’s training, it doesn’t take a neurosurgeon to work out what went wrong and how we got here.
Some good stuff.
The other side of the coin.

Hahahaha
“a paucity of evidence“, why Harry? Read the article out loud in bed beside my horrible wife and now my penis has a new name…
Great performance from Alli after being out for so long, look forward to what can be achieved when he is match sharp, pulling up trees based on last night performance. Gareth Bale has scored 4 goals in his last 5 games for spurs and only played a full 90 in one of those games. WOW
