With apologies to Felicia Dorothea Hemans, but last night for me particularly summed up the overwhelming importance of Pierre Hojbjerg to Tottenham.

Couldn’t agree more. Very good player. Eyebrows were raised when Brighton paid £20 mill for him but they have been justified. My only concern is that he is 26.
Funnily enough i was thinking that whilst watching him play a few days ago. Even Lewis Dunk is currently better that at least half of our defenders in that position !
PEH is brilliant. I just worry about him – when we get a very good player, we overplay him to the point he gets injured or burnt out.
But currently, he simply has to play whenever possible. Having Sissoko or Winks instead of him is extremely frightening to imagine.
Hojberg is great, now we need to buy Webster from Brighton,
a proper central defender, and English too

Once again Harry, very good stats and comments. Maybe Spurs need to do some raiding on Leeds. I enjoy watching their games and their players (who play with both speed and urgency) especially their 2 defenders Dallas and Ayling. Was not suprised to see them in the Top 5-Defensive Duels.
