Tottenham Braced For 7 Games In 21 days

English football is notorious for its gruelling Christmas scheduling and Spurs’ busiest runs starts tomorrow with a visit from Crystal Palace who are currently languishing in 13th spot in the Premier League.

Just 3 days later, and we find ourselves travelling to Liverpool for what will undoubtedly be another key indicator of how we’re doing, and subject to what goes on elsewhere, could even influence whose top of the table come full-time.

Leicester City at home is next, and we get a whopping 4 days to recuperate for it. Again the Foxes are in the mix and this is just as important a tie as any ‘top four’ opponent tie.

72 hours later and there is the small matter of Stoke City in the quarter final of the Carabao Cup.

Back to the league and a trip to the West Midlands to visit 12th placed Wolves (who lost to Aston Villa earlier today). This is swiftly followed by our now traditional festive visit from Fulham, who are currently enjoying an on/off relationship with the relegation zone.

The final game of the batch is a visit from Poch’s old mentor Bielsa.

Wolves are gone.

I feel sad about the Jiminez thing but that’s their season done, and they know it which makes it all the sadder.

Liverpool and Stoke the trickiest to navigate.

Sure does hope it keeps going all season long.

I used to say we sometimes played better without Kane during some of his previous injuries.

However, that was before he morphed from goal hanging Kane into action man Kane…I think it would be much tougher to lose him now after his transformation into twice the player under Jose.

All winnable games. Pool being the raise our game easiest one. Wolves is the worry.

Those two have to be fit and available all season if we are to pull it off. The whole game plan of our counter attack revolves around those two…

Brutal schedule, but fortunately the same applies to most of our Premier League opponents, many of whom have lesser squad depth than we do.

Injuries will play a part too, if everyone stays fit The Bindippers should be the only real test. HK or Son go down then it might be a lot of draws instead of the smash and grab.

I think tomorrow is a test and then of course Liverpool the ultimate test of our credentials….Leicester could be hard or piss easy there one of them teams..then it gets easier but it depends on how well the squad players perform
