Harry Kane’s ‘people’ will be looking at this footage this morning and I wouldn’t be surprised if Tottenham Hotspur Football Club opt for some class of sanction against the broadcaster for this ill-judged moment.
In a nutshell, Ogden believes Harry Kane’s goal scoring is boring and Nunes is relieved that, “…for someone who speaks like that, thank God he plays football.”
Fans weren’t impressed and countless angry people took to Twitter to tell Nunes and Ogden what they thought of their ‘banter’.

A lot of players say “obviously and basically” a lot.
The “death penalty? Come on cush. For me jail should be for violent crimes. Junkys in jail for shoplifting. Nonsense. Total waste of tax payers money. First offence burglars going straight to jail (serving between two and three years. Nonsense. (Unless aggravated burglary) repeat offenders then yes. Weed sellers going to jail. Nonsense. Class A yes. (Always violence in that game) too many people in there for rubbish cush, well over crowded and very expensive. Community service is the answer. I’d have the young offenders filling pot holes. No one should be going to jail for under a year.
I watched ’60 days in’ recently.. Eye opener that was… One of Muhammed Alis daughters was on there second or third season. Civillians go undercover in American jails if you never seen its a good watch.
The system definitely isn’t right. Its tough to know where that line is drawn really.. A thief or burglar for example could be seen by many as petty. But in the process they can ruin peoples lives. A timid dear old lady could be frightened for the rest of her live for example…. I think that most people there locked up thoroughly deserve it.. The serious crimes like murder and terrorism should carry the death penalty in my opinion. A life for a life. Those people don’t deserve to live at all.

Jail should only be for serious crimes in my view. Petty criminals shouldn’t be in there. The prison systems broken. A lot a bent “kangers (kangaroos screws) too.

My point about social media is this, it gives a platform to anyone and in a controlled environment where there are rules and moderators in force it’s more like an actual discussion. There are boundaries to name calling etc.
I don’t think racism has got ‘worse’ I think we have made massive strides in that respect. Social media has also given a platform to people who have always been there. They might be tiny in number but it only takes one of those people to say something bigoted and it all kicks off. At one time these people would be ignored, the tech companies need to clean their act up otherwise it will only get worse.
Freedom of speech is what we want but abusing someone for whatever reason via SM can’t be allowed.

Listening to pundits on that channel (which should be avoided at all costs) is like listening to women pundits discussing womens football… They are rubbish… Alot of Americans on there too, often sounding like they are talking about baseball or some other game… They may be honest to themselves, but any game I happen to watch then they either talk rubbish or are pointing out the obvious.. Kids football programmes would be more informative.
I think most of us would be shocked at what’s said when the cameras stop rolling (or they think they have). Look at poor old Keys and Gray! 😂

Strangest part is the absolute agreement that Harry Kane is boring. This is the guy who can see and do things on a football pitch that no other player can do, certainly not in the EPL. It makes you wonder what these professional football journalists want to see when they’re watching a game of football and which players meet their criteria for not being boring.
I doubt that any action will be taken by the club or by Kane. They will ignore these two idiots who have just revealed themselves to be jealous ignoramuses. There are plenty of people who do Harry Kane impressions, some of them are true Spurs supporters, including one who has featured on this site before. Does anyone else find it intensely irritating to hearing an American voice commentating on football?

Finally some honest comment from ESPN, even if it was inadvertent. Tell us what you really think. Not very often that they have much nice to say about Spurs in general. Obsessed with the big clubs in the Top 5 leagues plus the MLS and uninterested in anyone else. Very biased towards Man U and Liverpool insofar as the Premier League goes. Nunes and Ogden just showed themselves up to be the ignoramuses they are. I think Harry Kane is mentally strong enough to not even give their personal views a second thought.
Its always boring when a good player plays for a team you don’t like. The nastiness is uncalled for, we have some American Gooner and some dull Manc both jealous of Kane’s achievements.
