Chris Wood may seem an unlikely target for a Spurs move, but the name began doing the rounds recently after Alasdair Gold dropped the name in a recent video. Whilst some might rail against the suggestion, but we’re no longer in the La La Limbo land of Mauricio Pochettino, where nothing happens at all – and Jose Mourinho is doing his upmost to build a squad that can challenge – with Levy’s budget.
With 14 Premier League goals last season, Wood would make an affordable, effective addition.

Same here, I think he is very underrated. Very capable footballer, much more cultured than a big target man. IMO too good for Burnley, and in a good team would hit 20+ a season.
Just get me Olivier G in on a free (cups now) and use that money else where in the squad.

Dearer than Wilson, Deeney and most others we are linked with. So not that affordable, I’d imagine he’d be in demand as a proven Premier League goal scorer. Fits the Jose profile of battle hardened warrior.
