Spurs remaining games ought to be a walk in the park for a side of our so-called stature, but in actual fact, we’re presented with a minefield.
Bournemouth fall into the wounded beast category, with the Cherries only level points with fellow relegation rivals, Aston Villa. Watford and West Ham are far from safe from the drop, so the there is a point to fighting – DRAW
Arsenal have deteriorated so much since upgrading their own stadium (the design of which was based upon an Eastern European NCP), that beating Tottenham on the way out of another truly unmemorable season would delight their fans – DRAW

Newcastle United are currently to be found drifting in 12th spot and are another side that wouldn’t mind a bite at Spurs – DRAW
Leicester City have their sights on European football, with Manchester United to close for comfort with so few games left to see out – LOSS
In truth, away Palace looks to be the only banker of the group – WIN
Ricky’s gone for the following wins…

Yep. Son winks gio sissoko davies. One step forward, two steps back. Sideways and backwards to dier and toby far too often… Watching city and liverpool after us was a clear eye opener. Both teams play with pace and flow and direction. We have no tenacity left. Us and everton looked equally awful. Both looked like mid table to relegation teams.
Same.. I don’t care about ropey league much.. Give us a win over the goons and finish above them is all I care about… The champions league places are gone.
That’s what the spammers hope for when they play us,it’s their cup final.Didn’t they beat us in our first home game at the mall? That’s not exactly become a fortress has it.But you can get an upsidedown pint and watch NFL buddy.
Stadiums are going the way of retail, less footfall and everything going online. ENIC’s business model for the stadium is 20 years out of date, look at Woolwich over 12 years down the line. It’s all a con, trust me.
The stadium and training ground will not elevate the club without investment on the pitch, at least equal or close to our rivals. No manager has ever had anything close under Levy, yet he sacks them for for a short poor run after massively overachieving for the majority of the time.
He’s a con man and a charlatan. He doesn’t care about football whatsoever…

Yeah I agree – it’s a sad state of affairs, but acheivements wise we can’t do much else. Qualify for Europa and berat Arsenal is the best we can aim for at this stage. Hopefully next season will be a bit different. I have my fingers crossed nayway.
That’s half the problem. Goal setting, besting Woolwich the highlight of our season. Another new low.
Agree with you and Jamie O’Hara – we are a complete bore to watch. Backwards, sideways, backwards piffle. It was painful against Everton.
If we beat Arsenal, that’s all I care about.
Honestly, if we get more than 6 points from end of the season run in, i will be shocked. If we play well in any of those games would shock me more. 10 shots on target out of our last 4 games!! averaging less than 3 per game, honestly, at this point I would be happy just to see us make the keeper save 4 shots in each of the last few games. I refuse to remember us ever being so boring, and so inept (we may have been, but I choose to block those memories as i hope to do with the Jose era.)
The true value is what Liverpool and United have done – build a global brand. The futue of football is to watch it on TV (streaming device) so a global appeal offers way more money. Sadly, to do that you need to win stuff or buy hosehold names, to win stuff you need to buy players that are winners, household names are not cheap. The cost to get into top 4 is significantly less than the cost to go one step further. Levy is not capable of making that step, he is a serial “anti-risk” person, most people in property are.
The two North London giants with their high tech ‘new’ stadiums battling to finish in the top 10.
Meanwhile Liverpool with their obviously shabby old out of date, not fit for purpose gaff are both European and English champions…
New stadium devotees are stupid, deluded fools… it’s sll a massive con.
