After a few messy lockdown breaching moments featuring (first-team players and the coach, plus that unseemly business with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy attempting to pass 80% of the non-playing staff’s wage bill onto the state), Spurs needed to find some decent press.
Nice little video here showing how some elements of the stadium have been turned into an NHS overflow facility for North Middlesex’s maternity hospital, and how fresh food distribution is being organised from one of the club’s car parks.
Given the size of the stadium, it would seem likely that this good work can carry on, even when the football returns.
