ESPN pundit Craig Burley is not a Mourinho fan. This analysis of Tottenham Hotspur’s style since the Special One became the Kosher One pulls no punches. Burley even uses the phrase “lump it forwards” at one stage!
It’s difficult to oppose much of what the Scot says, however this is a Spurs side terrorized by intermittent injury, neglect, a new coach and new signings. Am I making excuses? Only time will tell if Mourinho can get the boys not just winning, but putting on a good show in the process.

Quoting Craig Burley is a bit like quoting Paul Merson. Aging players starting to suffer from too many head knocks as players. Better to be pitied and ignored than quoted.
A billion each utterly obscene ..
Pep has won the most. But he has been at the better clubs and also spent the most money… Our gaffer Maureen comes in second. Hes spent more than pep though its close they both spent over a billion each. Those two are seen by many as the best.. Eddie howe has done well with limited resources.. Rafa benitez was very good sad to see him go. Chris wilder has done well but can he keep it up like eddie howe. Nuno has also done very well.. Nigel pearson is back, he is a very good manager.. Tough one but ‘the best’ is surely the manager with the most honours? Or is it the manager who punches above his weight with the smaller clubs? Rafa benitez won the champs league with liverpool, also saving the toon from relegation and when they did get relegated he brought them straight back up. That guy is a clever manager he always set up well.
Agreed
The guy in charge at Sheffield should get a mention.
No Mr Tappa. He is Brown Bread.
Good job, we wouldn’t have wanted him at the Gooners.
Yes. Arsenal were to stupid to realise it.
“Farm? My farm? Broadwater farm TOTTENHAM? Nope😊
Off topic I know, and with the exception of Klopp, is Nuno the best manager/coach in the Premier League?
Burley. Here in Oz it’s something you throw overboard to attract the sharks. Sounds like a plan.
On a more serious note. Nello Santi , ‘Has Bought The Farm ‘.
