This doesn’t make me excited! we have lost arguably the worlds best no9 and we are replacing him with a bargin basement reject that is being cut loose by his parent club to be replaced by a 38yr old!! I would be more excited to be prizing a £90m asset away from a club that doesn’t want to sell. This stinks of Levy – will this lad cut the mustard in the PL, who knows, but one thing I do know, £30m in todays market is relative pennies and cheap purchases are historically hit and miss, usually more miss.
This guy might be great for us ,or, he might be another dud, who knows ? When was the last time a Spurs signing made us all excited, truly. Its like having Jose as manager. Give the man time to see his input. Then decide.
