Dele serves up Miserable performance against Champions League Lightweights

This blog is an “ah, but he’s young“, “oh, but he’s been injured” free zone, thanks very much. Dele Alli is being paid £100,000 a week and is failing to provide anything close to value for money.

Last night the recently deposed English international had a great opportunity to show that he needed to be taken seriously again. As indeed, did the entire Spurs team.

That’s because Dele isn’t a special case.

Despite swathes of off-pitch commercial deals, where the 23-year-old passes himself off as a superstar, Dele is not so secretly …a player going backwards.

Red Star Belgrade were 14/1 last night, which ordinarily is pretty much a guarantee that the team in question will not win.

The final score was emphatic, but Dele was not so resounding. No Tottenham player gave the ball so frequently, no Tottenham player was so poor at challenging for the ball.

Perhaps you enjoyed his performance – in which case, bully for you!

I’d sell Alli along with Rose and Eriksen this January. The pantomime was occasional enjoyable, but let’s cash in while there’s still some perceived value to this kid.

You can get a team to los£ but getting a team to win is a different matter unless both teams are in on it. Bastards😁

Cmon Genk. Concentrate and deliver the game plan. Don’t forget to add some creative bravery too.

We need a drum at the lane. Our shit needs to be drummed up. The drummer at Haringey FC is wicked. Vibes up the crowd with his skills. I do my bit with my cow bell😁. Non league football is so real. I half expect to see the peanut man and kids climbing the floodlight stands.

I like McGinn, Sir Alex rates him highly, he never gives up. We will never buy Maddison for 60 mill. Levy refused to pay Coventry £350,000 for him and we were offered Tielemans on loan but Poch didn’t rate him. In Levy we trust, hah, hah!

Get McGinn. He’s continued to be awesome this season, hattrick for Scotland last week. He will be Villas POTY.

I though we were in for Maddison in the summer of 2018 but the deal was ‘Levyfied’

Would be an excellent buy for us. As would the lad Tielmans
